A solid swell hit our shores: 4 to 6 feet waves every day at Kabalana's The Rock. All the reef spots were working. Early mornings clean and glassy with light offshore winds that picked up around lunch time. Most days we had heavy rain after lunch which killed off the wind for the afternoon sessions.
Earlier in the week, we had 3 to 5 feet waves at Lazy's, Midigama... but we also had lots of localized storms, starting as early as 10am and lasting the whole day. Grey, wet... and miserable! But what a light show! Early dawn patrols found messy but still ridable waves with the afternoon sessions looking for shelter.
