About the place:

Located in the southern tip of Luzon Island, Gubat is a far away destination yet accessible with a daily flight from Manila. There is an option to go by car all the way from Manila, but the 10 hours drive better be saved for more surfing time.

Home to famous Cloud 9, Siargao receives the consistent swell of the Pacific Ocean. Intermediates surfers wishing to score Cloud 9 might prefer the low season (May to September) to ride more forgiving waves.
